Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Sun 14 March Happy Mothers Day! This means one thing, we are delivering flowers for Debbie, after we head to my mums to drop off some hanging baskets and have a cup of tea.

Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Tues 16 March I start the day off with an early walk, I did 4.21 miles but was surprised as the exact same walk measured 4 miles last week. Glenn set about building a wood store from a pallet, he was quite pleased with it. I didn’t have a super productive day but I did finish listening to The Incredible Winston Browne on Audible. I loved listening to this book. I also downloaded a new book The Midnight Library. Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Wed 17 March I head off to Wellingborough to see my mum and Glenn helps our friends through the Stoke Bruerne flight. I help mum fill out her census and then we have fish and chips, because I am trying to eat healthier / less we share a portion of fish and chips between us – no deep fried mars bar today! I resist all chocolate.

Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Thur 18 March Glenn heads to the office and picks up some interesting packages to bring home. I spend the morning watching vlogs for vloggl. Around lunchtime, I drive to the Three Locks for my daily walk and help our friends through the locks. When I get back I open the post, we have a bumper pack of goodies from Skye, who watches our videos. Inside the package, there were delicious treats for us both, and our grandchildren, plus some beautiful fragrant lavender bags for both our mums and Mirimar. In addition to that, Skye had also written us a lovely card and enclosed £10 towards my marathon fundraising target. I then opened the box that had come all the way from America, it was from Jan who also watches our videos, she had sent a selection of her local chilli jams for me and Chilli Jam Jeff to try. They smelt delicious and I can’t wait to try them!

Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Fri 19 March I wake up with that Friday feeling, Glenn doesn’t! We go and help our friends as they continue their journey to their new mooring. As we walk down to Grove Lock Glenn fishes an LED light out of the Canal. I have my doubts that it would work! After helping our friends through 3 locks we return to the boat.

Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Sat 20 March Chloe, Aaron and I walk to the top of Ivinghoe Beacon, it was tough going at some points but we did! When we got back to the village I realised I had lost my bank card. I ring the bank to cancel it while Glenn goes to the local cafe to buy sausage sandwiches. Later in the afternoon, I get a message from someone who had found my bank card. It reminds me there are good people out there.
