Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Sun 6 Dec Vlogmas We set off from the top of the Three Locks at Soulbury and head to Leighton Buzzard to meet Jeff and Sally. It was a foggy start but we hoped it would clear – it didn’t! The journey was uneventful and it felt as if we were drifting along in a cloud. After meeting up with Sally and Jeff we continue on our way and form part of a convey with 2 single crewed wide beams and another narrowboat behind us. This makes for a busy time when we arrive at the locks. We were very happy to see Mark and Paul from Yet Another Canal Adventure who had come to give us a hand. Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Mon 7 Dec Vlogmas It’s our first day at the new mooring and it’s another foggy day. We see if our hose will reach the water tap. Glenn heads to Northampton where several exciting packages arrive in the post including a smaller inverter, some new wellies and the wooden rings so I can make my macrame angels.
Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Tues 8 Dec Vlogmas The fog clears and we go off to explore our new surroundings. We get a call from Harry who has broken down on a roundabout in Banbury. We head over there so we can give him a hand.
Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Wed 9 Dec Vlogmas A super busy day that makes us feel quite stressed. Lots of work stress means it is late, dark and cold when we get back to the boat.
