This week wasn’t quite the one I had in mind. It started with a much-needed breath of fresh air on the Cornish coast, but then took a few unexpected turns, forcing a slowdown and a day-at-a-time approach. We eased back into work after the Christmas break, found comfort in the little things — a fresh haircut, a replacement heated blanket (huge relief), getting back to Zumba, a head-clearing walk in the rain, and some mindful cooking using what we already had. A magical evening at Exeter Cathedral was the perfect reminder that even when a week doesn’t go to plan, there are still moments of light tucked in along the way.
