Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Sun 27 Dec We survive Storm Bella who brought strong winds and rain. We meet up with Harry to give him some presents for the kids but can’t get out of the car due to social distancing. Glenn picks up some logs from B&Q but also gets a huge quantity of bird food. He also buys some window film to try and stop the condensation on the boat.
Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Mon 28 Dec It’s a Bank Holiday but Mr W decides to go to the office. I give an update on the plastic film windows. We think about what projects we want to start in January and Glenn thinks he needs to get a job. Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Tues 29 Dec I start the day with a delicious bacon sandwich. Glenn adds our new solar panel to the roof and changes the wiring. I make a start on my Bonsai growing kit and then we head to Tring Reservoir for a walk.
Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Wed 30 Dec We head to the office and while there we have a problem with the bonnet of my Smart car, Glenn fixes it with some wire. We pick up our Hello Fresh box and I plant my Bonsai seeds.
Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Thur 31 Dec It’s New Year’s Eve and Glenn does a bit of gardening and lays the base for our new fire pit. Glenn measures up a spot for his shed and I go for a walk. I plant some tiny seeds in my terrarium.

Video Diary | Narrowboat Vlog | Sat 2 Jan Glenn unpacks his jet wash, builds a bird table and makes plans to build a wood turbine. We also decide to do an experiment to take part in an experiment to turn one pound into a million pounds.
