We wake up to find the canal had frozen and we had ice on the inside of the window! I decide to make Stollen to use up some store cupboard ingredients. I ring my mum and can’t get an answer, I start to worry but fortunately everything was ok! A CRT work boat passes by and breaks the ice.
Glenn gets the car stuck and after much pushing we admit defeat and Jeff comes to our rescue.
The stollen takes much more effort than I originally thought, I end up by cutting corners and shoving the whole thing in the oven.
