It was wonderful to receive a surprise visit from our friends Deb and Steve on Saturday night. My friend Vanessa helps us through the Braunston flight of locks. We meet 3 boats in the tunnel and by the time we get to the Buckby flight our friends Sara and Paul have turned up to give us a hand. We join up with another boat to go through the locks and I am surprised to hear that Adam used to live close to us and had many mutual friends with my children.
