You know when you have really high expectations for a fabulous day and it doesn’t turn out as you expect. That is what happened today.
I was so excited about going to the Woburn Safari Park but the day just didn’t live up to my expectations, it was so busy and we queued for ages to get in. Once in we sat in a huge traffic jam. To make things MUCH worse our car engine starts getting really hot and to try and reduce some heat out of the engine Mr W puts the heating on full. We were going through the lion enclosure so all the windows had to be closed. We were very hot! We couldn’t risk continuing to sit in the long traffic queue so we cut our visit short. We head for the car park and Mr W checks to see if it is a fuse – it isn’t, so we eat our picnic and head home.
Mr W buys me a gift of a flask which will be excellent for when I am walking.
In other news, Glenn fixes the van door handle.
