It is an early start for us as we head to Northampton to deliver flowers for Glenn’s sister who own The Secret Garden Florist. The vans are loaded and off we go! After a busy morning driving around Northampton, spreading love and joy with our deliveries, we return to the shop with an empty van.
Glenn offered to buy me a takeaway but I said I would rather cook at home. Glenn had seen a Valentine’s Dinner from Morrisons advertised on the TV. I thought they would have sold out but we were lucky and Glenn picked up the Beef Wellington and some other deliciousness.
We return to the boat and Glenns breaks up some large sheets of ice that are travelling down the canal in the wind. They are like icebergs!!!
I activate my Ancestry DNA kit that I got for Christmas and get that ready for Glenn to send off in the post on Monday.
I cook the Beef Wellington and it is absolutely delicious.
